This integration is designed to simplify your workflow, particularly when collaborating with your customer’s legal team.
You might be wondering why Revolear, a platform known for its seamless digital deal rooms, is now supporting Microsoft Word. The answer is simple: Lawyers. Not just your lawyers, and certainly not our lawyer, but your customer’s lawyers. Many legal teams prefer working in Microsoft Word, and to ensure smooth negotiations, we’ve made it easy to accommodate their preferences.
Revolear’s seamless, bi-directional support for the DOCX file format and Microsoft Word includes the following capabilities:
1. DOCX Download: Revolear agreement pages can now be downloaded to DOCX from the Revolear sales app or a Revolear digital deal room. Administrators or sales users can control whether external (customer) users can download.
2. Custom Templates: Administrators can upload a custom template for their Revolear organization, enabling them to set custom styles, headers, footers, watermarks, and more, including adding a logo. All documents downloaded from the organization will use that template.
3. Full Component Support: Downloaded documents support the full range of Revolear agreement features, including quotes, rate tables, term sheet styling, ordered lists, and clause numbering.
4. Upload and Revision Processing: Modified agreements can be uploaded in DOCX format via the Revolear Sales app or a Revolear digital deal room. Comments will be added as Revolear comments, and any modifications to the text will be added as Revolear suggestions.
5. Redline View: Customer suggestions can be used as color-coded redlines until accepted and can then be viewed using Revolear’s version comparison capabilities. All comments and suggestions are attributed to the user who uploaded the DOCX.
Once the feedback is added, Revolear users will enjoy the full capabilities of negotiating on the platform, including internal comments, term approvals, fallback clauses, and support queues.
